THE 2010 IPA REGION 9 MEETING SCHEDULE The monthly meetings of the International Police Association San Francisco Bay Area Region 9 are usually held each First Sunday of the Month. There may not be a meeting if the First Sunday falls on a Holiday, as in the upcoming September 5th the Labor Day Weekend. The September 2010 meeting will be the second Sunday in September, the 12th at the United Irish Cultural Center in San Francisco. All persons wishing to attend any IPA Region 9 meetings or events are required to reservations with President Gary Larsen by calling him at 510-845-2910 or by e-mail to Gary at BPD109R@comcast.net The September 2010 monthly meeting of region 9 of the International Police Association will be held at the Irish Cultural Center in San Francisco on Sunday Sept. 12th, 2010 starting at 10:30 AM. The speaker will be Robert Urhammer, aka "Earthquake Bob "Every thing you ever wanted to know about earthquakes. Unfortunately the Region 9 Quartermaster will be unavailable due to another commitment in Sacramento so there will be no Region 9 “Store” in September. The October 3rd meeting will be in Marin County at “San Rafael Joe's” located at 931 4th Street in San Rafael. Sunday brunch will start at 11AM. The speaker for October will be Jan Heglund who is the chaplain for the San Rafael Police Department and the FBI. She will talk about chaplains in Law Enforcement. November 7th, 2010 we will be back at the Irish Cultural Center in San Francisco. Our speaker in November will be Don Bright a videographer who has done a video with the BBC on the search for millionaire aviator Steve Fosset, who disappeared while flying his plane in Nevada. Dec. 5th will be at the Irish Cultural Center again at 10:30AM. More information will come at a later time.
